Due to its high strength and heat resistance, ULTEM is prone to generate large heat during cutting, requiring the use of appropriate cutting parameters and cooling methods. • High temperature resistance: long-term use temperature can reach more than 170°C, short-term temperature can reach more than 200°C.
• High strength and rigidity: harder than many engineering plastics, while having good impact resistance.
